A helicopter from the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) made a forced landing in eastern Afghanistan on Thursday, a press release issued by the ISAF Joint Command said.
In a former press release, the ISAF Joint Command said the helicopter crashed on Thursday morning in Parwan province, bordering capital city Kabul on the east.
"There were no injuries and the crew has been recovered," said the former press release, adding, "What caused the aircraft to crash is under investigation; however,initial reporting indicates there was no enemy activity in the area at the time of the incident."
The Afghan Taliban are not much active in the hilly Parwan province, and so far, there is no report from the Taliban militants, or other militant groups, to claim the responsibility for any attack against the helicopter.
Mostly, the U.S. and French troops and South Korean civilian workers are based in and around Parwan province.
